Welcome to the salt water world! I started on the freshwater side following 100000% evry video you did! In fact I was planning to replicate your african chiclid tank in my house until i discovered the salt water world.. ive been in the salt qater world for 1.5 years now and it is simply amazing… you will love it! Just one thing thou… very very respectfully…. I loved and even praised seachem products they are the best of the best in freshwater… unfortunatley.. you will find out i think the way i did that seachem is not the best in saltwater. That being said, matrix, prime (ofcourse) and the ammonia badges are as great!!! All others.. oh my… they fail badly in the saltwater world unfortunatley….

Love ur vids loads of good info. Was going to get a fluval 207 for my next 33 gal planted and fish tank but then found the oase biomaster with a built in heater. Ya its more but an easy swap. prefilter and a heater just made it worth it for me. Watched this cause i saw some companies packing there filters bio first then foam and thought that was backwards compaired to there flow patern and u confirmed it.

Good luck! I’d say you’re rushing the process too fast, but it’s a learning experience. Just do yourself a favor and make sure you buy nitrate and phosphate testers, also consider buying premixed Red Sea salt water for your first few water changes until you figure out salt mixing and how much calcium/magnesium to add to your water mix. If you eventually get corals, get some amino acids to help with their growth.

Awesome good luck! But be warned bout nems lol they split like crazy one will turn to 5 in no time lol so if you want corals just think that over but def wait to add a nem they need things stable and established for a few months. I put my clowns in after a week using prime as well no issues and they’re doing great

Having 3 clowfish is not a good idea. You should push it to a higher amount, like 5 / 6 because one will probably be bullied there

I love Seachem products, but I find the ammonia alert tags and other tags just don’t work. I’ve used them on newer tanks and they would never detect anything.

Hey , We hav almost 40 ciclids in our 130 gallon tank..now we welcome around 40 babies fishes ( fish fries) in our tank ...plz suggest to best take care of themmm

also you can move your fish into a bucket or container with heater and air stone while you set up your tank! ive done it to move them to a new house.

I do 80% water change because of you, fish seem happier, my fish are lasting longer, no issues. I do, do it every 2 weeks. Tank is always clear and clean..😊
